What Is Compost Bin?

Introduction

A Compost Bin Mould is a tool used to make a compost bin, which is a container used to pile up and decompose organic waste (such as kitchen waste, gardening waste, etc.) to produce organic fertilizer.

Production process

1. Mold material selection
The cavity and core are made of 718 steel, which is a high temperature and wear-resistant tool steel suitable for high-precision mold manufacturing. The mold frame uses C45 steel, which is a medium carbon steel with good strength and hardness.

2. Mold manufacturing
Precision machining of various parts of the mold (such as cavity, core, mold frame) to ensure the high precision of the mold size, heat treatment of the mold cavity, core and mold frame, and fine machining of the precision parts of the mold, especially the small cooling holes and complex structural parts.

3. Mold assembly and debugging
After completing the processing of each component, the mold is assembled to ensure the matching accuracy of each part, especially the injection system, cooling system, etc., which require fine debugging.

4. Injection molding process
After the mold is installed on the injection molding machine, high-temperature melted polypropylene (product material) is injected into the mold cavity through the injection system, and the molded compost bin is taken out after cooling.

How to maintain

1. Regular inspection
Regularly check the mold cavity and core surface to ensure that there are no cracks, wear or damage.

2. Cleaning
Regularly clean the flow channel and nozzle to ensure smooth flow of molten plastic.

3. Cooling system maintenance
The cooling channel should be kept clean to avoid scale accumulation that affects the cooling effect. Regularly check the cooling pipe for leaks or blockages.

4. Mold lubrication
Regularly lubricate the moving parts of the mold, such as guide pins and guide sleeves, to reduce wear and ensure smooth opening and closing of the mold.

5. Mold storage
When the mold is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and temperature-appropriate environment to avoid moisture or high temperature environments that affect the performance of the mold material.
