Introduction
Fruit Crate Mould is an industrial mold specially used for producing fruit boxes. It is usually made of high-strength steel or aluminum alloy and is manufactured through processes such as injection molding, blow molding or thermoforming.
Manufacturing process
Material selection and processing
The cavity and core are made of high-strength materials (such as P20, 718, H13, 2738), which have good wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high toughness. C45 steel is selected and pre-hardened to ensure the stability and durability of the mold frame structure.
Mold design and manufacturing
The mold is designed using CAD/CAM software to ensure that the mold structure meets the product size requirements (53x35x31.5 cm), CNC processing and electrospark machining (EDM) technology are used, and polishing is used to improve the surface finish of the mold cavity.
Injection system design
Equipped with a hot runner system and a 4-pointed nozzle gate design to achieve uniform material distribution, reduce injection defects, and improve production efficiency.
Mold assembly and testing
The mold size (825x735x685 mm) has been adjusted and verified many times to ensure compatibility with the 450-ton injection molding machine. The mold performance is verified through trial molds to ensure that the fruit boxes produced reach the design weight (51 kg) and the required strength and dimensional accuracy.
How to maintain
1. Daily cleaning and lubrication
Regularly remove residual plastic, dust and oil on the mold cavity and core to avoid affecting the surface quality of the product. Lubricate the active parts of the mold such as the slider, guide column, guide sleeve, etc. to prevent friction loss and ensure smooth opening and closing of the mold.
2. Regular inspection and adjustment
Regularly check whether the bolts and pressure plates on the mold are loose, and tighten them in time to prevent mold deformation or component displacement.
3. Prevent corrosion and wear
Regularly check the wear of the mold cavity and core, and polish and repair them in time when scratches or dents are found to ensure product quality.
4. Regular maintenance and care
After producing a certain number of parts, disassemble the mold for a comprehensive inspection, focusing on the status of the cavity, core, slider, guide column and gate.
