Introduction
A Round Flower Pot Mould is a tool used to produce round flower pots. It processes the raw materials into a standard round flower pot shape through mold pressing, injection molding or other processing methods.
Manufacturing process
1. Mold design and modeling
According to the size, weight and material requirements of the flower pot, the overall structure of the mold is designed, including the cavity, core, pouring system, cooling system, etc. 3D modeling is performed through CAD software to ensure the accuracy of the dimensions of each part.
2. Mold processing
The cavity and core of the mold are precisely processed using CNC machine tools. For mold steels such as P20 or 718, high-precision processing is required to ensure that every detail meets the requirements.
3. Casting system manufacturing
According to the design requirements, cold runner or hot runner system is selected for injection molding. Cold runner is suitable for small batch production, while hot runner is suitable for improving production efficiency and reducing material waste.
4. Mold assembly and debugging
Assemble the processed cavity and core according to the design requirements, adjust the injection system according to the actual situation, and ensure that each cavity can be evenly and efficiently injected with polypropylene (PP) material.
5. Mold trial and optimization
According to the results of the mold trial, optimize the pouring system, cooling system, etc., and solve the problems found, such as uneven filling and insufficient cooling.
How to maintain
1. Regular cleaning
During the production process, the mold will accumulate plastic residues or other impurities. Regular cleaning can prevent the accumulation of dirt and affect the molding quality.
2. Check the lubrication of the mold
Regularly check and lubricate the moving parts of the mold, especially the contact surface of the cavity and the core, to reduce friction and wear. Use appropriate lubricating oil and avoid too much or too little.
3. Check the injection system
Regularly check the injection system, including the cold runner or hot runner, to ensure that there is no blockage or leakage. Blockage of the runner may cause uneven plastic injection and affect the quality of the flower pot.
4. Avoid overuse
Avoid overworking the mold. Long-term high-load production may cause early wear of the mold.
5. Mold storage
When the mold is not in use, it should be stored in a dry, moisture-proof environment to avoid moisture or rust.
