Introduction
Modern Chair Mould is a high-precision tool specially designed for producing plastic chair parts, mainly suitable for injection molding of polypropylene (PP) materials. The product size of this mold is 590x580x750 mm and the weight is 4.5 kg.
Production process
Injection molding process
This mold uses a cold runner injection system, that is, the cold runner is used to guide the molten plastic into the mold cavity during the injection molding process. A 1200-ton injection molding machine is used, which is suitable for large-scale production. The mold is mainly made of plastic (PP material).
Mold material selection
45, P20, 718, and 2738 are commonly used mold steel materials with good wear resistance. The mold frame part uses P20, which has good processing performance and heat treatment performance.
Mold design
The design of the mold is usually accurately designed using computer-aided design (CAD) software, processed by computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, and heat treatment technology is used to improve the hardness and wear resistance of the mold.
Cooling system design
Equipped with an efficient cooling system to ensure temperature control during plastic molding and avoid warping or product quality problems caused by temperature difference.
Mold debugging
After the mold is manufactured, the injection molding machine and the mold are debugged to ensure the matching accuracy of the mold cavity and core to avoid defects or defective products.
How to maintain
1. Daily cleaning
After each production, the mold must be thoroughly cleaned, especially the cold runner and injection port, to avoid the accumulation of plastic residues and affect subsequent production.
2. Lubrication and oil maintenance
Regularly check and add lubricating oil to the moving parts of the mold (such as guide columns, sliders, etc.). The cold runner system also needs to be cleaned and lubricated regularly to ensure that the molten plastic can flow smoothly and avoid blockage or poor molding.
3. Temperature control system maintenance
Regularly check the cooling water pipes and cooling channels to ensure that there are no blockages or leaks. If the cooling effect is found to be poor, it should be cleaned or replaced.
4. Repair and replacement
Injection ports, cooling pipes and other easily worn parts need to be checked regularly, and should be replaced in time if they are severely worn.
5. Mold storage
Store the mold in a dry and temperature-appropriate environment, and avoid exposure to high humidity or places with large temperature differences to reduce the risk of deformation and rust.
