Introduction

A Basket Mould is a mold specifically used to produce various types of baskets. It is made by placing raw materials into the mold and shaping them through high temperature, high pressure, etc., so as to produce baskets with specific shapes and sizes.

Manufacturing process

1. Mold design and material selection
C45, P20, 718, 2738 and other steel materials are used as the cavity and core materials of the mold. C45 material has good hardness and strength and is suitable for the structural part of the mold; P20, 718 and 2738 materials are suitable for fine processing parts to ensure the long-term service life of the mold; the mold frame uses C45 steel, which has high wear resistance and stability.

2. Injection molding process design
Use hot runner open gate or valve gate. The mold is suitable for 550T injection molding machine, which can provide sufficient pressure to ensure the complete filling of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and ensure the accuracy and consistency of the molded product.

3. Mold manufacturing process
First, the mold is rough-machined according to the design drawings, and then fine-machined to ensure the accurate size of the cavity and core; the cavity and core of the mold are properly heat-treated; the mold is assembled and debugged after manufacturing to ensure the normal operation of the gate, cooling system, ejection system and other parts.

4. Injection molding process and product molding
The temperature of the injection molding machine is set to 180°C to 220°C, and the injection pressure is adjusted according to the specific requirements of the mold; after the injection molding is completed, the product will be cooled and solidified in the mold.

5. Product demoulding and post-processing
After the cooling process is completed, the molded supermarket shopping basket is removed from the mold using the ejection system; after demoulding, necessary finishing is performed, such as removing the gate, nozzle, burrs, etc.

How to maintain

1. Regular cleaning
After each production, clean the plastic residue on the mold surface in time.

2. Check mold accessories
Regularly check the status of the nozzle and gate to ensure that there is no damage or blockage to avoid affecting the smoothness of injection molding.

3. Lubrication and rust prevention
When the mold is not used for a long time, it should be treated with rust prevention to prevent metal parts from rusting.

4. Check the hardness of the mold
Regularly check the cavity and core parts of the mold. If there is wear, it should be repaired or replaced in time to ensure product quality.

5. Regular debugging and inspection
The temperature, pressure and other parameters of the injection molding machine should be checked and adjusted regularly to ensure that the mold is in the best working condition.
